Our 1st meeting of the season was on September 20
at TSC. Lots of great things, great
ideas, and great minds joined together at the wine table to decide how &
what we wanted to explore & experience in the coming months. We had a wonderful group that participated in
our planning session. Julie LoBean
received the Door Prize of the night……a wonderful bottle of Duplin Almondage

Your Grape Therapy:
Due to the differences in climate and overall “terroir,”
there are certain characteristics that can help even the most novice wine
drinker distinguish wines that come from grapes grown in Europe versus
elsewhere in the world. Below are a few hints that can help you impress your
friends by identifying a wine's origin without even glancing at the label!
European (Old
World)
Lower alcohol content
Lighter Body
Acidic
Earthy tones
American/Oceania
(New World)
Higher alcohol content
Bigger body
Oak tones
Fruity tones
My Wine pick of the month:
“Middle Sister, Sweet & Sassy California Moscato”
After a long hard day of being fabulous, I like to relax
with a glass of wine. But I don’t want
